Works good so far. Variable brightness is much appreciated . I did notice that on two occasions the lamp, although 75% charged shut itself off for no apparent reason. This required me to stop work and fiddle with the on off button. … thanks for asking. Good luck there.

I am a HUGE supporter of the Ledlenser line of products!! I have owned at least 4 of the H14.2 headlamps. As a mobile mechanic, I use these lamps every day at work. I am an extreme user. I thought I would up my game to a more reliable commercial lamp. Water resistant, shock resistant, more than twice as bright! 3x the price. After using it for more than two weeks, I am (unfortunately) a little disappointed in the lamp. It is more bulky, and weighs more than my former lamps. That would be a fair trade off for more than twice as much light. But, the new colour correct 4000k “warm light” does not hit as hard as the ultra white light the H14.2 produces. It dose not seem as bright as the H14.2. The focus also falls short. The H14.2 has a pin point focus that can be directed into small spaces. The H15R has a much more limited focus. It goes from full view to 50% view. It does not focus to pin point, and I don’t find it as bright “Functionally” I’m going to keep using the headlamp to see if it can go the distance. I might get used to the warm colour of the light. I will see if the headlamp can withstand a real “daily work” environment. I’ll let ya know….
